What does it mean to bear much fruit in the bible – 937 – 550 – 6433

If we are going to bear fruit as children of God we have to abide in God and his son Jesus Christ.

John 15 – 4

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the fine; no more can ye except ye abide in Me.

What a tremendous verse that is from the word of God. We have to abide in the vine.

Moving farther along to verse 5, Jesus says I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bring the fourth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing.

The word is very clear to us that for us to be successful we have to look to God and his son Jesus and stay focused to the word of God. We also must be doers of the word and not hearers only.

One of the things that we have to ask ourselves today is, what do we need from God?

John 15 – 7
If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

If we are walking the word of God in our life, I truly believe that we will never ask anything contrary to what God but have for us. We should never be lacking anything in our life. However, circumstances sometimes will come our way that he on our control and we truly need God to intervene for us in a mighty way.

John 15 – 8
Here in is My father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.

God is our heavenly father and he really is our Dad. As a father in the natural would want the very best for his kids, God wants the very best for us because we are his kids.

Please remember that fruit is something that you can see. When you look at plants and trees in the natural, you know by looking at them how well and how healthy a tree is where the plant.

We need to feed our mind the word of God and every day life. Part of this comes by putting God first in our life. Once we learn this I truly believe that our life will be supernaturally changed by the power of God’s word operating in our life.

Matthew 6 – 33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

The word of God doesn’t say that it will be taken away from you. It says the things that we need to live the daily life will be added on to us, but we have to put God first. We sometimes try to fit God into your schedule, however God has to be the first place in our schedule. I’m not talking about religion. Talking about a relationship with God and his son Jesus.

Sometimes it takes discipline to get this started. We can start off this the small goals. Say 5 to 15 minutes first thing in the morning, we can just listen and not say anything and let’s see what God would tell us through our spirit. Sometimes he made this tell us that he loves us and he has some special things for us.

Putting God first also is putting others first. This could be as simple as praying for somebody or find somebody a cup of coffee. People need to see the love of God in action.

Matthew 7 – 7 – 8
Ask and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

John 15 – 16
Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the father in My name, He may give it to you.

In looking at the Scripture and verse 16, the word remain actually means the word abide that we seen so much in John 15.

So in closing, when ask you what do you need from God today? It could be some of the following.

Healing
Financial Miracle
Health Issues – cancer, sugar diabetes, heart disease, blood clots, high blood pressure or even it could be as simple as you wanting to lose weight.
Employment – maybe you need a job, he possibly have a job that the bosses hard to get along with, or possibly there’s people at your work that the matter what you do they always want to critique your work.

I just want you to know today that whatever you had need of God will take care of it for you.
