So what I wanted to talk to you today about is trusting God when life doesn’t make sense.
You may have a lot of responsibilities, a lot of circumstances that you don’t understand. But I’m here today to tell you, as a 61-year-old male almost 62, that things always seem to work out.
At the time you may be going through all hell, all turmoil. And every time you turn around, it seems like something’s going wrong. That’s the time that you and I need to stand upon the greatness of God’s Word.
And I’m here today just to encourage you — just trust what the scripture says.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6–7
You and I today, as a believer, have no reason to be anxious. Because if we’re anxious, we can’t think godly thoughts. And if our thoughts are not aligned to the Word of God, God’s not gonna be able to move like He wants to — because in a sense, we’re gonna tie His hands. We’re gonna put our foot on the hose, and the blessings will stop.
So today — let’s let go and let God. Trust Him and see what He does.
