What Does the Bible Say When Life Feels Overwhelming?

September 8, 2025September 12, 2025

Today, my friends, you may be dealing with life issues that feel overwhelming. You may even be asking yourself, “What does the Bible say when life feels overwhelming?” or “How do I keep faith when life feels like it’s falling apart?”

I may never fully know how you feel or what you’re facing, but I do know what life can bring us sometimes. There are seasons where our faith is stretched, tested, and challenged.

But this is the time that you and I must stand upon God’s Word more than ever.

Whether your name is Rachel, Tom, or anyone else reading this today, I want you to know this simple truth: God loves you right where you are. Nothing you’ve done and nothing you’re going through can separate you from the love of God.

Brokenness Can Be a Beginning

Maybe you’ve been wondering, “Does God still love me when I’m broken?” Friend, the answer is yes. Your brokenness isn’t the end of your story—it’s an opportunity for God to work in your life in a way that nothing else can.

The Bible reminds us:

  • “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7, KJV)

  • “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6, KJV)

So if you’ve been searching, “How do I walk by faith and not by sight in real life?” — this is where it begins: believing God’s Word even when you can’t see the outcome yet.

A Word of Encouragement for You

So today, on this Monday, let me encourage you:

  • Stay blessed.

  • Stand firm in your faith.

  • Remember that God loves you right where you’re at.

You are not forgotten, and you are not alone. If you’ve been searching for “Christian encouragement when I don’t know what to do” or “Scriptures for when I feel hopeless,” know this: God cares for you right now, in this very moment.
