A Study Guide — Loving Like God
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”
1 John 4:7-8 (KJV)
This is a free study guide built around 1 John 4 — what it means that God is love, and what it looks like when His love starts showing up in the way you and I actually live. It’s laid out so you can walk through it slow, one section at a time: read the verse, read the teaching, then stop and answer the questions before you move on.
Inside, you’ll work through four honest questions:
- How I Think — Is my mind renewed to the Word, or am I letting negative thinking run?
- How I Speak — Are my words a report of love and grace, or judgment and disagreement?
- Do I Forgive? — Am I quick to let go, or holding on to what doesn’t really matter?
- How I Treat Others — Do people experience the love, grace, mercy, and compassion of God through me?
There’s room to write your own answers as you go, because the thing you write down is the thing you keep.
Print it, save it to your phone, or work through it with a friend or small group — it’s yours to use however helps.
If this study is a blessing to you and you’d like to support this ministry, you’re always welcome to give here — but this guide is yours either way, no strings attached.
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”
1 John 4:16 (KJV)
