The word of God is alive today. We need to take Gods medicine.
Proverbs 4-20-22
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
God heals all diseases
As a child of God there are benefits that God has promised you and me.
Psalms 103-2-3
2: Bless the Lord, O, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
3: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities: Who health all thine diseases.
If this is the case, why are there so many people that are a sick?
I believe that there could be many reasons for this.
- For a lack of knowledge.
- Not having forgiveness for others who have hurt us.
These just might be 2 of the reasons why we don’t receive the manifestation from God.
God has given us everything we need to know what his will is for us regarding situations that might arise.
3 John-2
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
These scriptures are for us today. There are so real to me. I know even though I might not look healed or feet healed, I am healed.
I realize today that healing can be a process as well. In the natural it could be like having a infection and the DR. gives you a antibiotic through a Iv. The word of God is medicine. We must take it daily as you would any medication prescribed by a Dr.
If God ever healed anybody, he will heal and I. Either the whole word of God is true or it is a lie. God cannot lie. He always speaks truth and life.
Peters Mother is Healed
Matthew 5-14-15
4 And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever.
15 And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.
When he touched her, the fever left. Jesus had the power to heal.
The word ministered in verse 15 literally means to serve them-as a women would serve food the there families. She was not selfish at all. She was focused on others and not herself.
Mathew 15-30-31
30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
- Lame-literally means to be crippled.
- Blind-Self Explanatory
- Dumb-Speechless
- Malmed-wound or injure (someone) so that part of the body is permanently damage.
The word says in verse 30 that Jesus healed many others then the ones listed 30.
There are many people who have been dealing with issues for many years and have accepted the fact that there circumstances may never change.
Again we do not have to accept the what we have as the gospel.
Jesus heals the women with the issue of blood
The women with the issue of blood dealt with her issue for over 12 years.
She in her own mind probably thought her condition would never change. She most likely had the thought process of acceptance. She probably said even to herself “I will always have this condition”.
It is easy to understand why she would feel this way. However, this mind set will hinder her. She had to change her heart and believing.
Luke 8-43-48
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
The word says in verse 43, that she had spent everything she had, but she got worse. She tried things in the natural. She tried things her way.
This issues she dealt with could have been embarrassing for her. During this time she was dealing with this issue, I am sure that she had to go the extra mile to deal with this medical issue. She could not go to the local drug store and buy supplies that she needed.
When Jesus healed the women with the issue of blood, he was on his way to heal a 12 year old girl.
Luke 8-41-43
41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
Luke 48-56
48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
49 While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
55 And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.
56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
Verse 54 says Jesus had to put out the folks that did not believe.
Verse 54 says also, that Jesus said ARISE. When he did this she becamne and alert and Jesus commanded them to give her something to eat.
I think of this stories and others, how people needed Jesus so much and Jesus always followed through.
Jesus continues to heal others
32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.
33 And all the city was gathered together at the door.
34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
