The word of God is the will of God.
This is a bold statement.
How many people believe this? When are life is in turmoil, it is difficult to believe this.
The one thing I know is that if God promised us something in his precious word he will bring it to pass.
We must believe what God says. So many times, we want to go to the world and get their opinion. However, if we do this we will get so many opinions. This is not Gods best.
We must seek God and the things in his word.
When we have a need in our life what is the first thing we turn to? As believers it should be the word of God. The word is so full of promises. When we read the word, God is speaking to us directly.
Do we know the voice of God when he speaks? We should, if we are staying in the word.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
If we are ever going to receive healing from God, we must know that God is not a respecter of persons. What he will do for someone, he will do for us.
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
This scripture is truly amazing I believe. God does not show partiality. He does not show favoritism.
God wants is to live the more then abundant life. If we are lacking in this area, we must do an inventory of our life. We must be honest with our self.
Are you willing to take this challenge? I am and sometimes we must get to the place where we are sick and tired of being sick and tired. We cannot live this life on our own.
We must rely on God and take him at his word.
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
When we trust God with everything I truly believe that this is when God is able to move.
- We surrender our will for his will.
- We are able to make the right decisions.
