What Does The Bible Say About Prayer For The Sick?
So that we walk in divine healing, we must understand what the will of God is in regards to healing.
The first step is is that we must know that God is not a respecter of persons.
Acts 10:34
- Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Psalms 103:1-3
- Bless theĀ Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
- Bless theĀ Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
- Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
We are commanded to remember all his benefits is because it is our tendency to forget the benefits that God has given to us as his kids. It takes effort and a choice for us to remember what God has freely given us as his kids.
If you have a job, one of the things that the employer does is give us benefits to work for them. Some of the benefits may be a vacation, 401(k), health insurance, and some even have employee assistance programs.
We have an incentive to work for employers because of the benefits and the pay we receive from them.
God wants us to walk in divine healing, There is no disease or sickness that God cannot heal.
